THINK SPRING!   THINK RAIN!

            I just read that new young sewers was the hot topic in Switzerland.  Many sewing clubs have sprung up to help new enthusiasts learn the basic techniques and sewing machines.  Many, we hope, will catch the quilting bug too.

            We need the rain so we can enjoy our flowers and gardens.  It lifts our spirit.

            Sorry to hear Emily Bateman broke her ankle.  We hope for a speedy recovery.

            May 18 will be Paula Gathe’s 40th wedding anniversary.  They will celebrate by going on a cruise over Memorial Day to Ensenada.  Congratulations!
