Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by doing a lively Irish jib.  Put a pot of corned beef and cabbage on the store.  It will put the spirit back into your life.

A happy Shirley Barnett has a new grand daughter born January 14, 2008.  Weighed in at 8 lbs 12 oz., 19 inches long, with a pretty sounding name of Samantha Lily.  Congratulations.

Virginia Krumholz is recovering from her recent heart attack and feeling better and ready to return to guild.

It has been a slow news month so please call me with news so I’ll have something to report.

Don’t forget to wear green.  Happy St. Patrick’s Day.

HELP…. We are assembling pillowcase kits to sew for needy children.  The Kits require at least ¾ yard of fabric.  Do you have some bright colors or children’s prints that you would like to share for this very worthy cause?  We would really appreciate your help.  Please check your fabrics for donations.  Thank you.

Speaking of help:  We always welcome newcomers to the Helping Hands meeting.  It isn’t mandatory to attend every meeting.  There are many steps in the process of making these quilts.  We will be happy to show you how to do something you may be interested in learning.  We are a friendly group.  While we work we share stories, jokes or other news.  We laugh too.  Come join us.

Twenty-three ladies attended the February 12th meeting.  We donated 17 quilts to Caring Connection.

Helping Hands meets the second Tuesday of every month.  Your help is greatly appreciated.  Please join us.
